Job Description

As a Financial Analyst you will support our senior staff, gaining hands on experience working on merger and acquisition transactions. Responsibilities include supporting new business development and investment banking engagements, including:

• Preparing, analyzing and explaining historical and projected financial information
• Coordinating and performing business due diligence
• Preparing confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations
• Valuing companies and businesses
• Assisting in the marketing and planning of presentations
• Working on the completion of industry publications, research and financial analyses.

Qualifications

BS in Accounting or Finance. Prior work experience in a firm providing transaction support services or public accounting is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in financial analysis, and be motivated, creative, and be able to work efficiently in a collaborative environment. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, possess strong skills in financial analysis and modeling, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Experience

One to two years of post college work experience in public accounting or transaction support is required.
